I hope this message finds you well. My name is [Your Name], and I am an aspiring game developer with a particular interest in [specific aspect of game development you are focusing on, e.g., "puzzle mechanics" or "AI algorithms"]. I recently came across your game, and was greatly impressed by its concept
In order to strengthen my understanding of how the code works, I am seeking examples of well-implemented code from accomplished games like yours.
I am writing to inquire if you would be willing to share the source code for ready pixel one. I assure you that any code shared will be used solely for educational purposes and to inform the development of my project. If there are any specific conditions or agreements required for this access, I am more than willing to comply.
Additionally, if there are other ways in which I might support your work or collaborate, I would be delighted to discuss them. I believe that by learning from seasoned developers like yourself, I can significantly improve my skills and contribute more meaningfully to the game development community.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your response.
Pretty good little experience! I didn't get to finish it at the moment, but will come back and attempt. A couple little bugs (maybe?) but overall the movement felt pretty good and I can see a lot of potential! Keep up the good work.
sadly the controls don't really work on keyboard (don't know about controller), A-Key does not move the character to the left, which would be fine since you can use arrow keys as well, the issue with that being that jump is on spacebar and attack is on leftclick, so you would basically need 3 hands to be able to use all actions comfortably (you can't really use spacebar with the same hand you use for arrow keys, same going for leftclick).
if you want some input, i would just use arrow keys for movement and map actions (jump, attack) to c and x or j and k which is pretty common for this type of game.
overall it looks really good, plays pretty smoothely but has issues with the controls as mentioned above.
